One of my favourite peppers, although I have never sen one with bark like that - mine are much smoother on the trunk. What a pleasure they are, other than when you get scratched to high heaven

Well, now that you’ve mentioned the ‘C’ word, pretty soon I would hope!
We call those lodged prickles 'spell's, as in 'there's a spell in my finger'. I wonder where that came from and how many other names there are?
