I finally have mine back. She went missing for four years. Let me explain- so when we moved, I dug up and potted all my roses ready for the move to our new garden and left these “safely” in the hands of my mother-in-law. Anyway, it was winter at the time and miserable, about five months later I realised we were a few roses missing- Munstead wood, lady of shalott and brother cadfael. Can you guess where this is going…

Needless to say I’ve just got back Munstead wood when my mother-in-law went- oh you can have this rose, it’s so sickly 🤦🏻‍♀️ I hope to get the others back in another four years. Honestly I thought I’d left them behind.

It’s an incredible rose. Would love to have it here. Am on the waiting list. Lady Emma Hamilton is another stellar rose withdrawn by ‘the grower’. An outstanding rose.
